Day to Make A Difference

As the weather turns colder we may think not only of fall foliage and hot apple cider, but also of those around us who might be struggling. By Friday, October 21 (the day before the national Day to Make a Difference), we challenge you to represent the Pioneer Valley Wellesley Club to make a donation to a local food bank.

The easiest way is to make a donation online to the Food Bank of Western Mass.

(In the “How did you hear about the Food Bank” question you can fill in “The Pioneer Valley Wellesley Club.”)

Or the Northampton Survival Center!

(In the comment section add: Pioneer Valley Wellesley Club).

If you would prefer to donate in kind, the Northampton Survival Center needs many non-food items such as toiletries, feminine hygiene products and diapers.

If you would like to make a donation to a food pantry closer to your own home, the Food Bank has a long list.

Just call beforehand to make sure the pantry is open.

Let’s do our best!
